Yesterday, Year 6 were introduced to their World War II history unit with a trip to Eden Camp. This is a former POW camp which has been turned into a WWII museum. We had a lot of fun exploring the huts and saw lots of amazing exhibits. Everyone is now very excited to begin learning about this fascinating topic in school.

Welcome back everyone, and welcome to our new 6C class! It has been a whirlwind first couple of weeks here at ACE and Year 6 has been extremely busy!

Firstly, we have been on our annual local area visit to the Meanwood Valley Trail. This trip links with our work in science, writing, geography and reading for the first few weeks of term and we had a fantastic time exploring the woodland while improving our geographical fieldwork skills.
